After a year of making pottery, fixing kilns, repairing my kiln chimney and physical therapy on my hand, Oak Hill Pottery is finally open for visits. I plan to post photographs and venues to see my work as they occur, so click on my “Pottery” page (on menu bar above) regularly. Of course, if you need some pottery or just want to stop by to say hi, you can always call me at 617-999-5267 or write to me here and at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As always, I take photographs every day and now that I have joined the Lakes Region Camera Club, I am learning a lot from others who share my interest. This past year has been spent learning Adobe “LightRoom” so that I can edit the photos that I take from the national parks that I have visited. My plan is to post a handful of photos from each park. Click on my “Photographs” page in the menu bar above to see what I have uploaded so far.
My sculptural work is now focused on organic forms in celebration of the sea and the rarities it contains; all at perilous risk in this time of mass extinction. With my kiln working again, three will be complete by the end of April, 2017. As a member of the Lakes Region Art Association, I am hoping to find venues to show them. Click on my “Sculpture” page from the menu bar above.
